Should Non-Catholics cross themselves during M?

I am just beginning the RCIA process, as I have for many years felt drawn to the Catholicism and the ideals and beliefs put forward by the church. I have great respect for all religions, and understand that it's important to tread carefully, as I do not wish to show disrespect. My husband, who is Catholic said I can kneel if I want to during M (I do) and I participate in every other way (except of course Holy Communion) but he is unsure as to whether I should genuflect upon entering the church, pew and during the m. I'd greatly appreciate any istance. Thank you.
