What are the details of Prop 8? ?

All Prop 8 had to do with, was recognizing gay marriage as 'legal', in that they would receive tax and insurance benefits, as all married couples do. It had nothing to do with schools or churches/religions, those were lies and scare tactics put out there BY the churches, and obviously it worked.
