What does this do?? 10ptns best anserws!!?

A cooling blanket helps to basically cool the horse down without getting cold. It is something that keeps it warm. I actually have one of these and coolers are great. You throw them on your horse after you cool them down from a workout, to prevent them from getting cold. It takes away the moisture on the horse onto the top of the blanket, but keeping the underside dry, so the horse will stay comfortable. You can also use these as you warm up on a cold day, and tuck them under your legs when you are riding. Then you take it off as you begin to warm up in trot. Its like if somebody took you out into -5 degree weather and just walked you around, you'd be chilli! So you put a cooler on when you walk around, until you are ready for something more demanding that will warm your horse up. Also, you can use them after you bathe your horse on a cooler day. After you remove the excess water then you can throw the cooler on and it will draw away the moisture, leaving your horse dry and warm, instead of cold and wet. I use these all the time, in the early spring, late fall, and winter! Great thing to have. Hope that helps you a little.
