How old is this ceramic cup with Falcon Crest?

I found this small cup measuring only 2" high and seems to be made of glazed pottery or thick porcelain? It has an unusual shape as it has been flattened where the seals are giving it a oval shape. It looks like two half moulds have been put together, it looks very old. I am wandering where this style of cup originates from, it kind of reminds me of a cup I would imagine you would find on a pirates ship with Falcon Crest / Dual Swords LOL!
